“She is clothed in strength & dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” Proverbs 31:25
I’m Alle. I’m 22 years old. I spend most of my time at a tiny Christian college in the middle of nowhere, Indiana, but central Illinois is my home.
I love Jesus, my little fur ball Romeo and my littler fur ball Biscuit, caramel drizzle on my iced coffee, reality TV, long bubble baths, Mexican food, napping, aimlessly wandering around Target and the Chicago Cubs.
Writing has been a hobby and an outlet of mine for as long as I can remember. I write to reflect, I write to challenge myself and others, I write to process and I write to grow closer to God. So I hope that something here resonates with you or encourages you or helps you.
Someone once said that “life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all” [it was Helen Keller] and I wholeheartedly agree. My hope for this blog is that it will allow me to chronicle my own adventure as it happens, as well as to share any wisdom that I might possess. Most importantly I want to make sure you leave here knowing how great the Lord’s love for you is and how deep His grace runs for you.
Thank you for joining me!
[The blog I kept during my freshman year of college can be found here. Sometimes I actually had legitimate things to say but mostly I just don’t want myself or anyone else to forget about the time I got chased by angry geese through a park or when I got way too excited because Amber from Teen Mom told me she liked my shoes.]
