“She is clothed in strength & dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” Proverbs 31:25
I’m Alle. I’m 21 years old. I’m studying psychology at a small Christian college in Indiana but my home is central Illinois.
I love Jesus, my little fluffy best friend Romeo, caramel drizzle on my iced coffee, HGTV on Saturday mornings, long bubble baths, Mexican food, napping, aimlessly walking along the aisles of Target and the Cubbies.
Writing has been a hobby and an outlet of mine for as long as I can remember. I don’t always have the right words to say and I’m pretty sure sometimes I don’t even make any sense at all. But I hope that something here resonates with you or challenges you or helps you.
Someone once said that “life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all” [it was Helen Keller] and I wholeheartedly agree. My hope for this blog is that it will allow me to chronicle my own adventure as it happens, as well as to share whatever minimal amounts of wisdom that I might possess. Maybe I’ll make you laugh, maybe I’ll make you think, but most importantly I want to make sure you know how great the Lord’s love for you is and how deep His grace runs for you.
Thank you for joining me here.
[The blog I kept during my freshman year of college can be found here. Sometimes I actually had legitimate things to say but mostly I just don’t want myself or anyone else to forget about the time I got chased by angry geese through a park or when I got way too excited because Amber from Teen Mom told me she liked my shoes.]
